About this piece
Quick answer: this sunburst wall mirror has a 50cm frame of natural wood slats around a 25.5cm round mirror. It weighs about 0.82kg, so it hangs easily, and it suits a hallway, a living room wall or a group of mirrors on one wall.
Size of the 50cm sunburst mirror
The sunburst mirror is 50cm across the frame, and the mirror glass in the middle is 25.5cm across. Most of the width is wood rays, so it works as a wall piece first and a mirror second. It is not a dressing mirror for checking an outfit. The supplier lists a net weight of 0.82kg.
What the wooden sunburst mirror is made of
The supplier lists the frame as wood. In the photos the slats are light and natural-coloured, each one pointed at the tip and set in overlapping rows around the glass. The mirror is glass. The third photo shows the back of a mirror from this range, with an eight-sided wooden support and a hanging fitting at the top; the supplier does not say which size it shows.
Where a sunburst wall mirror works
A sunburst wall mirror suits a hallway, the wall above a console table, a landing or a bedroom. This listing is the 50cm size only, and the first photo shows it with its measurements.
Hanging the sunburst mirror
At 0.82kg this is a light mirror, but it should still go on a proper wall fixing rather than a bare nail. Our guide on how to hang a heavy mirror covers wall plugs and fixings, and the same method works here.
About the natural wood tone
The supplier lists the frame as wood in a natural finish, so the tone differs a little from slat to slat and from the photos. Expect light, honey-toned wood rather than a painted or metallic finish.

Questions answered
How big is the mirror itself? +
The frame is 50cm across, but the mirror glass in the centre is 25.5cm across. The wood rays take up most of the width, so check the glass size against how you plan to use it.
What is the frame made of? +
The supplier lists the frame as wood, in a natural light finish. The mirror is glass.
How heavy is it? +
The supplier lists a net weight of 0.82kg, so it is light for its size. Fix it to the wall with a plug or hook rated well above that weight.
Does it come with wall fixings? +
No fixings are listed. The supplier photo shows a hanging fitting on the back of the frame. Have your own plug and screw ready.
Can I hang it in a bathroom? +
No, we would not choose it for a bathroom. The supplier gives no moisture rating for the natural wood, so a dry hallway or living room is the safer place for it.
How long does delivery take? +
UK delivery is free. This sunburst mirror ships from our international warehouse and normally arrives in 7-12 working days.
Can I return it? +
Yes. You have 30 days to return it unused and in its original packaging. See our returns page for how.
